Tottenham's living legend Son Heung-min continues his goal-scoring streak.

Son Heung-min scored a come-from-behind goal in the 41st minute to lead Tottenham to a 2-1 win over Luton Town in the 30th round of the 2023-24 Premier League at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England, on Jan. 31. Son scored his 160th goal for Tottenham, moving him into sole possession of fifth place on the club's all-time goalscoring list, surpassing Welsh striker Cliff Jones (159), who played for Spurs in the 1960s.

In addition to Son's goalscoring record, British publication 90min also highlighted the top five individual goals in Tottenham's history.

Kane is Tottenham's all-time top goalscorer. Kane holds the record for the most Premier League goals by an active player, scoring 280 goals in his Spurs career. He is followed by Jimmy Greaves with 266 goals and Bob Smith with 208 goals, who is third on Spurs' all-time goalscoring list. Martin Chivers is fourth on Spurs' all-time goalscoring list with 174 goals, 14 more than Son Heung-min.

After the Luton Town game, Son said of his 160 goals for Tottenham: "I didn't realize how many goals I had scored. To play for one club for almost 10 years is a huge thing and a great honor for me. I would like to thank all my teammates and the manager for being with me."

Son, who is contracted to Spurs until next season, has been linked with a move away from the club, with Tottenham manager Postecoglou saying: "He wants to play at the highest level possible when he is available and he has continued to do so. Playing for Tottenham is very important to him. He has been an outstanding player for Tottenham for many years and we hope he can continue to do so for many years to come."

Son Heung-min has been on a scoring spree in the Premier League this 메이저토토사이트 season with 15 goals. Despite missing the Asian Cup this season, Son is three goals behind the league's top scorer, Holland.

Chelsea pundit Townsend came under fire on Monday for claiming that Son Heung-min is not a legend in the Premier League. "He's a top-class player, a great player," Townsend told UK TalkSPORT. The word legend should be used correctly. Someone said that about me before and it wasn't right. He is a great player for Tottenham, but he is not a legend," he insisted.

Townsend, who said that he, as well as Son, does not qualify as a Premier League legend, played for various clubs between 1980 and 2000, including Southampton, Norwich City, Chelsea, Aston Villa, Middlesbrough, and West Bromwich Albion. He also earned 70 caps for the Republic of Ireland national team. Townsend was named Chelsea's Player of the Year in 1991 and was named to the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) Team of the Year three times during his career.
